Reprint of Old Post (1).

"And now for something completely different."     From  March 17, 2011.
This was removed many months ago from my blog www.biomathcraft.blogspot.com
It has been slightly edited to update it.

Here are some drawing I do to express emotion.  The lines are drawn with the left hand (heart side, right brain, emotional instinctive side).  They might not be beautiful but hey, they sometimes have meaning, I think.  The colours are just what I feel is right;  a rhythm and pattern emerges.  Originally I used a dowsing pendulum to choose the colours.  Now I am more likely to just do them.  Sometimes a picture gets pulled out right from deep in the unconscious.  When difficult feelings come up, I try to do a picture, and sometimes I am surprised.

Mostly I would like to do pictures to help cultivate the garden of my heart.  Lord knows it needs TLC.

***The last 3 are new ones describing the light radiating out of our hearts.  It was in a JoannaMacy workshop that we were asked to do a drawing of how we would tell our descendants about our efforts in these difficult times before "the Great Turning" to make the world a better place.

Anastasia of the Ringing Cedars says that our Sun shines due to the love in our hearts.  I f we wish to save Earth from disaster, eg an approaching meteor, then we all have the power to avert danger with our collective love.  My drawings feel like a little gesture towards this.  I must improve.  I am glad to share anything.   We do have Hope for a bright future.

Anastasia says that if people imagine catastrophe, then that is what they will invite.  “Nostrodamus has a lot to answer for.”  The power of the Image is formidable.  It is a Science.   In ancient days her forefather  was a Bard.  His mission was to impart the image of a happy world, in song.  The priests greedily wanted his secret for their own ends and caused him to die.  After a long absence, the same songs are being sung by bards in Russia.

What if our fabulous singers and musicians, men and women,  classical, folk and all, could sing new songs to Sing Up the Planet Earth!  Oh my goodness, what a world we could create!

Australian Indigenous People still consider it their sacred duty to “sing up their country”.   They have their songlines, inherited from their Ancestors.

BruceChatwin told of a trip travelling to a funeral in the Outback.  One person was singing so fast that the eyes were rolling up in the head.  It was realised that if the jeep were to drive at slower speed, at walking speed, the singer would be more comfortable because his song was a songline,  in exact alignment with the landscape.

The Canadian First Peoples used to row a boat to China, singing the ocean songlines.  On the return journey they sang the song backwards.  My reference is AnnCameron’s  “Copper Woman”.

Indigenous people have always suffered at the hands of left brain dominant societies.  See ThomHartmann’s book “The Last Days of Ancient Sunlight.”  The Land suffers also.  My feeling is we need to bridge the gap between left and right brain.

Education.  See “Native Wisdom for White Minds” by AnnWilsonSchaef.

Many of our brilliant left brain scientists do not always care for the Precautionary Principle.  Some do care.  One such was the late RachelCarson with her “Silent Spring”.  It was a book I received at my High School on Speech day in 1963.  Another book I was given at that time was KonradLorenz’ “King Solomon’s Ring”.  No wonder I feel compelled to write my blogs in my old age before it is too late.

My feeling is that there is another book hardly being considered which is of equal if not more importance.  It is “Our Stolen Future” by Dr TheoColborn and her colleagues  You can visit  the .org  website of the same name and have a look especially at a recent article by Dr PeteMyers.  Hormone disrupting chemicals act even at 20 parts per trillion, in breastcancer cells, and in foetus reproductive organ development.  It is so crucial.

There are race horses and Olympic athletes who are both male and female.  Girls with testicles call themselves “orchids” after the Greek word.  Who cares ?

Dr Colborn  brilliantly writes

“genes are the keys are on the piano.  It is the hormones that play the tune.”

Thanks are to the efforts of Canadians RickSmith and BruceLowrie who wrote a book “Slow Death by Rubber Duck”.  They have picked up and run with the warning to heed the dangers of hormone disrupting chemicals. Mothers with their babies in prams marched on the Canadian Parliament to demand that BPA be banned in plastics made into food containers especially baby bottles.

The human body is so exquisitely sensitive.   The planet Earth is also sensitive.

Anastasia says that the Earth feels even the gentle touch of a single human hand.

Anastasia spoke of America’s radiant future.  My feeling is that by extension that also includes Australia.  The radiant future involved making gardens.  LeonardBernstein’s operetta “Candide” from Voltaire’s book of the same name was first produces in 1956.  One song that I heard on ABC radio was “Make a Garden Grow”  Thank you Mr Bernstein!

Russia has its dachniks who love their garden plots.  Anastasia said that a catastrophe in 1994 was averted by their efforts in loving the land.   See Book 2, “The RingingCedars of Russia”  page54

Dr MasaruEmoto wrote “Messages From Water”.  He tells the story of Japanese people linking hands in a circle around a polluted lake.  A priest sang a prayer.  The lake became pure!  …..O Fukushima…..

Humans have been suffering from religion in some ways from ancient times.  The Sumerian gods Enki and Enlil were brothers.  Enlil wanted Enki’s power and betrayed his brother.  Another name for Enlil was… Jehovah.   A jealous god!    Reference is the late SirLawrenceGardner’s books.

We try to be good human beings!

I think we are all still suffering from trauma of our ancestors in past holocausts, and we are still processing those  traumas.  We set up the same situations so that we can feel them.

As soon as one makes one statement, then the opposite idea leaps up!  I also feel that religion has kept the flame of spiritual light alive.  For many people their faith is greatly comforting and most valuable.  Our souls must be connected to God,  a Heavenly Father.  We are a part of Mother Earth.

We need to have some numinous experiences, if we are lucky enough to encounter such.
