Tathra Beach , NSW Australia

We were 13 people on the trip.  One day and 2 nights.

8small black triangles in tree denote bellbirds.  The sole food of these birds is the lerp insect which lives on leaves of gumtrees and secretes a sugary covering over themselves.

Somebody made this.
After a big flood from the Bega River there was much wood piled on the beach.

Sunrise on the ocean.

There is a video on my facebook page with the sounds of bellbirds.  Quite rare to find them-  the forests are going.  here there are still some patches of the particular gum tree required.
I am unable to upload the video on this page from my laptop due to some error......

We stayed a Tathra Beach House which is very swish with treeferns and waterfall feature in garden,  and goldfish.
